Facilities

  • Imaging tests, such as X-rays, urography, CT scan, or ultrasound, to examine the urinary tract.
  • Cystophytes or procedures using a special examination tool (cystocop), to see the canal and bladder
  • Laboratory tests, including complete blood count and urine tests to look for bacteria that cause infection or detect any abnormal substances in the urine.
  • Bladder function, to pass urine or insert a special catheter.
  • Prostatectomy or prostate surgery, which is the removal of all or part of the prostate gland to treat the disorder
  • Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is used to remove excess tissue from the enlarged prostate.
  • Extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL), or shock waves, to break up kidney stones so that they are easier to pass.
  • Ureteroscopy, which is surgery using a special tool to remove stones in the kidneys and ureters (urinary tract from the kidneys to the bladder).
  • Biopsy of the bladder, kidneys or prostate.
  • Remove blockages in the bladder system.
  • Repair bladder damage caused by injury
